 Jamieson Studio of Dance offers Scottish Highland Dance classes to girls and boys from 2 years of age through to adults.

Classes are held on Saturday mornings, Monday evenings, and Tuesday afternoons and evenings in Brunswick West.

Private and semi-private tuition is also available on weekdays.


2024 SCHEDULE

Highland Dance Group Classes

Group classes are held during the school terms. Saturday classes resume for Term 1 2024 on 3 February and weekday group classes commence on 29 January.

  • Saturday mornings commencing at 9:15am at Brunswick South-West Primary School (in the hall) - South Daly Street, Brunswick West. This class is for kids and adults. Lesson start times vary depending on age/experience.

  • Monday evenings at 5:30pm at St John’s Anglican Church, Brunswick West, 494 Victoria Street, Brunswick West (Please enter via the driveway off Daly Street which leads to the off-street car park and hall entrance).

  • Tuesday afternoon from 4pm to 5pm (pre-premier level class) at St John’s Anglican Church, Brunswick West, 494 Victoria Street, Brunswick West (Please enter via the driveway off Daly Street which leads to the off-street car park and hall entrance).

  • ADULT CLASS - Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at St John’s Anglican Church, Brunswick West, 494 Victoria Street, Brunswick West (Please enter via the driveway off Daly Street which leads to the off-street car park and hall entrance).

  • Wednesday Championship Class 4pm-6pm (currently at capacity).

Private and Semi-Private Tuition

Half hour and 45 minute private and semi-private Highland Dance classes are available at the following times.

  • Mondays: times TBC

  • Tuesdays: 5:00pm - 7:00pm (in Brunswick)

  • Wednesdays: after 7:00pm

  • Thursdays: 5:00pm - 8:30pm

Private classes are generally held at Tessa’s home studio in Northcote.

Virtual Classes: private and semi-private online classes (through Zoom) are available to dance students that live outside the local area.
