2022 Wrap Up!

2022 was a jam packed year for our dancers! With the easing of COVID restrictions dancers were able to once again travel interstate for competitions and championships. One of the competitive highlights of the year was attending Champion of Champions in Launceston, Tasmania where all our dancers came away with trophies and medals, and we had blast at the Ceilidh event to conclude the big weekend of dance! We also had dancers travelling to Mt Gambier, Adelaide, Sydney and Canberra for competitions.

Displays and concerts were plentiful with one of our favourite events of the year being the pop up dance performance and parade as part of the Melbourne Tartan Festival. Dancers delighted the crowd with their performance in front of the Old Treasury Building and then joined the massed pipes and drums for a parade down Collins Street.

We celebrated a successful year of dance with and end of year concert for family and friends. It was a lovely opportunity for our dancers to share what they had learnt through the year. We are very proud of all our dancers for their dedication and commitment throughout the year and look forward to an even bigger 2023!
