Adult Highland at Jamieson Studio

At Jamieson Studio of Dance, our Tuesday night adult classes are one of the highlights of the week — a welcoming and social environment where dancers of all experience levels come together to share their love of Highland dance, enjoy a fantastic cardio workout, and have plenty of fun and laughs along the way.

Our adult class includes a mix of beginners commencing dance for the first time, former competitive dancers reconnecting with the sport they love, and experienced dancers continuing to challenge themselves and stay active. The supportive and relaxed atmosphere makes it easy for everyone to feel comfortable, regardless of previous dance experience.

Highland dancing offers so many benefits for adults, both physically and mentally. Classes provide an energetic full-body workout that improves cardiovascular fitness, strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, and stamina. The combination of precise footwork, jumps, rhythm, and posture challenges both the body and mind, making Highland dance a fun and engaging way to stay active.
